Draws in Not a 40k or a sci-fi fan, got this to help me fall asleep. I could clearly visualize every step of the book. Learn More – opens in a new window adn tab. Greatest of all are the mighty Warlord Titans, their weapons bringing righteous death to alien and heretic alike.
I liked Eisenhorn and his crew and will finish the series. And I was completely blown away. The 40k universe as rendered by Abnett is consistently inventive and exciting. And the Eisenhorn Trilogy is a fantastic introduction for audible users with no experience in the Warhammer universe.

There are a few settings that are a bit cliche like the gladiator arena part but other than, this book has interesting sci-fi worlds for Eisenhorn to hunt chaos down. The writing and dialogue is solid enough and the set pieces are what you’d come to expect from the Warhammer 40k universe but the drab main character is about as exciting as daj drying.
Book ratings by Goodreads. Nothing like good old Gregor Eisenhorn!! Such well produced product and a skilled author to boot.
And a delight for veterans of the 41st milenium as abnett. Dan Abnett is a god Abnett is good at writing action and despite all the violence, it always has an impact on you as a reader.
