It took me too long to read it because I tried to do it as a daily study, and I don’t do anything regularly. The word that you never tire of hearing? It’s helpful when one is discouraged, frustrated, weak, feeling lost or lonely.

Xnn have not yet read the book but I do get the online Bible Study versions delivered directly to my Yahoo email Inbox. No trivia or quizzes yet. This gives the reader time to absorb the meaning – to make it personal and to experience the true character of who God is. Maybe I’m just not a fan of this type of devotional, but I felt it was a bit light in some parts and a bit stretched out in others.

We are taught the words Lord, God, Almighty, the I Am – yet rarely do we truly understand the depth and meaning of these words or how they reveal the rich ot wonderful character of God. The Hebrew word rophe means ” heal, ” cure,” ” restore,” or ” make whole. Before becoming a writer, Ann was an acquiring editor at various Christian publishers.
Have you considered that God responds in much the same way you do when He hears his name mentioned? When I purchased this book, I was looking for a book that would serve as an overview and a reference for the names of God.

Was always a specific prayerful person but can apply the names to the prayers.
